How To Build a Green House

This is a rewrite of a tutorial I wrote on my Tumblr many moons ago.

What you will need: Greenhouse Build Kit

Optional: Clear Floor Tiles You only need these if you want plants to grow every season.

Optional: Gardener Mod

On flat terrain, build a 6 x 5 structure.

If you want a four-season greenhouse, put down a ceiling on the structure that you built. Add the clear ceiling tiles to each square until the ceiling is covered. The glass floor tiles are fussy, so gently move each one into place. You will know they are set when the flooring ( the ceiling you put down previously) underneath disappears.

Note: If the terrain is not flat, the glass ceiling tiles will end up on the floor.

Use MoveObjects to place greenhouse roof. Moveobjects is also needed to put seeds down to plant, but sims will ‘garden’ normally otherwise. They will weed, water, fertilize, ect… One of my sims has a gardener who takes care of everything. Any harvest that is collected is sent to either my sims inventory or fridge.
